FLIES

I have no idea who made this beautiful display book of flies because it is not marked.

This is a nice old display box made in Japan. This box is called the "POPULAR FLY KIT".

This is another example of beautiful display box. It says "SAKURA BRAND"
"SUPIOR FISHING TACKLES" Made in TOKO JAPAN on the box. It has sliding
plexiglass windows over the flies but this box is so old and fragile that
it is not safe to open them.

This is a card of flies made by SOUTH BEND. Some one has trimmed the card so the
top is missing with the name.

This is an old boxed set of 8 Orvis Weighted Nymphs.

I believe these poppers are made by SOUTH BEND.

These are beautiful Hand tied flies from an unknown maker.
Many small time lure makers who work out of their homes make
and package lures this way and sell them to local bait shops.
It is hard to see the flies inside the packages but there are
some beautiful flies and streamers here. These are very old.
They were probably made in the 20's or 30's.

This is another example of beautiful hand tied flies from yesteryear.
These came from the same collection as the ones above. I have no
idea who made these.
