These are jointed L&S fly rod size lures. They are 1.625 inches long.
The silver backed one in the top left hand corner is the lure that
got me started collecting fly rod size lures. When I was 23 years old
living in Barberton Ohio I headed back to my home town in West
Virginia for a two week fishing vacation. I love fishing the upper
Gauley River and Williams river. I fished a couple days with salmon
eggs with not much luck. Then one day I drove past a Bait shop in
Cowen West Virginia on my way up Williams River. I stopped to ask for
some tips from the locals. The owner said the little L&S bait would
tear them up. I caught many fish on it that day and have cherished it
every since. I can't count the times I have waded a stream to get it
unhooked when it got snagged. When I started lure collecting I bought
every one I had a chance to get. Then I branched off into other types
of fly rod lures.
These are L&S fly rod size lures. They are just over an inch long.
I have never fished one but I bet they would be the cats meow.
